WinNUPRA is a self-contained, integrated,
probabilistic safety/risk assessment software package for Level 1 PSA analysis. The
WinNUPRA software package undergoes a continual process of revision and expansion directed
by the needs of the industry.
WinNUPRA is being used successfully at numerous domestic and foreign nuclear power generating stations and chemical process facilities. The flexibility provided by the combined event tree/fault tree approach makes WinNUPRA easily adaptable to a wide range of applications. The WinNUPRA software is supported by both SCIENTECH, Inc., and a NUPRA User's Group (NUG). Both our internal users and clients, through the NUPRA User's Group (NUG), provide the input that directs the development and expansion of the code. As a result, NUPRA consistently meets with the current needs of our clients. The most current version of the NUPRA code is WinNUPRA 2.1, which was verified, validated, and released in April of 2001.
